OVERVIEW

The Director, Business Development, China is responsible for managing and leading all CAA Brand Management clients, such as Miffy, Peter Rabbit, Paddington Bear, Coca-Cola, Keith Haring, Porsche, McLaren Fords' direction, ensuring their continued growth and viability in the China market across all channels. You'll lead and oversee relationships with licensing partners across topics ranging from merchandises, marketing, and sales, ensuring that they are equipped and prepared to deliver on the brand vision, all of which drive financial target achievement.

Main Responsibilities to include, but limited to:
• Growth-minded
• Drive brand growth performance
• Manage licensee partner relations
• Drive brand development
• Facilitate effective licensing operations
• Team Player. Meet with clients, licensees and working with colleagues across multiple departments
• Be accountable. Manage client budget, plan and implement brand strategies

QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS
• Solid experience in merchandising, business development/sales, brand marketing, or licensing program management.
• Possesses a strong understanding of the sporting goods retail landscape in China
• Can demonstrate a proven track record in brand management - Character, lifestyle, corporate licensing a must.
• Possesses a strong understanding of how licensing product deals are identified and negotiated.
• Is experienced in securing and managing licensing deals in a variety of product categories.
• Is an excellent communicator, verbal, written, and in the room.
• Exhibits excellent attention to detail, is organized, and has a bias for action.
• IT literate and a good understanding of MS Office basics.
• Strong work ethic with the ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines.
• Must be organised and have excellent attention to detail.
