The Department
CAA's Digital Media division focuses on four core areas including brand partnerships, digital creator representation, content and platform sales , and corporate advisory services .
The Role
This unique job opportunity sits in our Digital Media advisory vertical which represents retainer-based corporate clients across technology, media, entertainment, social, digital and retail sectors. The team develops and executes client growth strategies, media and talent partnership, deal structuring, and new business opportunities.
We are seeking an Advisory Executive who will be responsible for managing Advisory client accounts. This role includes crafting and supporting client strategy, market positioning, revenue development, deal structuring, talent partnerships, and new growth opportunities. The ideal candidate will bring to each project a unique blend of account management, analytical and research skills together with the ability to think strategically and creatively.
Responsibilities
• Manage relationships with the department's Advisory clients across entertainment, media, and technology.
• Must be capable of developing client strategies and executing the associated actionable tasks.
• Collaborate on decks and presentation materials.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities for clients based on goals and market opportunities.
• Cultivate relationships and interface with internal Agency departments to identify and promote new opportunities across the agency.
• Drive insights on industry trends, identify new business opportunities and create pipelines for high-potential clients.
Qualifications
• 4-8 years' experience working with corporate clients across media and technology. Prior experience at a consulting firm or agency preferred.
• Understanding of the consumer content ecosystem, social and traditional distribution, and emerging technologies. Experience in gaming is a plus.
• Ability to quickly adapt to shifting priorities and agendas.
• Entrepreneurial mindset: self-motivated, resourceful, innovative, and accountable.
• Constantly curious, with an innate drive to learn new things and an ability to identify and pursue untapped market opportunities.
• Ability to thrive in ambiguous and evolving environments, demonstrating adaptability, sound judgment, and proactive problem-solving.
• Confident negotiator with an ability to build strong relationships with clients and key industry professionals.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to effectively multi-task and prioritize workflows efficiently.
• Technical skills needed: PowerPoint, Keynote, Excel, Google Suite (Docs, Sheets, Slides)
Location
This role is based in our Los Angeles office.
Compensation
The annual base salary for this position is in the range of $130,000 - $175,000. This position also is eligible for benefits and a discretionary bonus. Ultimately, the salary may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in the role, business sector, and geographic location, among other criteria.
