The Role

The CAA Brand Consulting Sr. Account Manager, Tech Integration will play a key role for one of our largest Brand Consulting clients, a leader in telecom. The Sr. Account Manager will lead the day-to-day management and activation of marquee sports and entertainment properties in the brand's portfolio, specific to their B2B and product integration initiatives. The candidate will interface daily with the client and will work cross functionally with internal/external vendors, clients and agencies. The candidate should have a keen interest in tech and monitoring tech partnership industry trends that will help lead to developing creative activation concepts.

The Department

Responsibilities
• Oversee the management and execution of technology and product integration driven sponsorships, working directly with multiple client product and sales teams
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to execute the partnership objectives and business opportunities
• Support development of an overarching, B2B focused strategy, specific to product integration and storytelling
• Lead development and implementation of activation concepts and tech integrations that support client objectives and strategies
• Lead client calls and provide expert opinions
• Create and lead client presentations for projects with properties, vendors or other stakeholders
• Serve as main point of contact for client for assigned projects
• Manage budget development, tracking & reconciling
• Work with client to determine KPIs and appropriate measurement plans and then oversee these initiatives
• Assist with the identification, analysis and recommendation of new partnership opportunities, particularly on the merits of tech integration
• Oversee & facilitate the creative development process of marketing materials, experiential assets and event-related creative (includes briefing designers & obtaining internal & client approvals)
• Work with other team functions (e.g. Creative, Experiential, Insights / trends, etc.) to ensure goals and objectives are met
• Monitor and track industry trends, especially related to tech and telecom, to remain on the forefront of developments across sports, entertainment and client industries, keeping the CAA team and clients abreast of all findings on an on-going basis
• Serve as a bridge between marketing, sponsorship and technical teams across the client and properties
• Support client hospitality and B2B engagements as needed

Requirements
• BA or BS strongly preferred or equivalent experience
• 5+ years of relevant experience in brand partnerships and marketing
• Experience developing sponsor activation strategies, particularly B2B and technology focused initiatives
• Tech product integration project management experience
• Experience managing and working with technology vendors and partners
• Proven track record of delivering or implementing projects on time
• Ability to travel and be on site at events or property/venue meetings
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
• Demonstrate highest level of critical thinking with focus on proactiveness and attention to detail
• Expertise in managing projects and budgets
• Excellent presentation skills
• Previous experience with managing and developing junior staff members
• Sustain relationships with clients and grow the business
• Understanding of the telecom industry, latest developments and how it impacts the sports, entertainment and lifestyle space
• Technology enthusiast

Preferred Skills
• Previous experience in telecom, technology field or technical marketing role
• Previous experience at a premier sports or entertainment agency, property, or brand are a plus
• Working knowledge and understanding of advanced and emerging technologies, telecommunications, wireless services, IoT or other similar categories
• Ability to combine technical knowledge with marketing skillset to effectively communicate ideas and information to varying stakeholder groups
• Interest in developing innovative applications for technology in sports and entertainment
• Strategic mindset to see the big picture with executional experience to implement programs
• Experience analyzing new opportunities with both qualitative and quantitative approaches
• Previous experience working with, or knowledge of, television broadcasters or other content producers is a plus

Location

This role will be based out of our New York or Los Angeles offices. This role is onsite/in office Tuesday thru Thursday and remote Monday and Friday.

Compensation: The annual base salary for this position is in the range of $76,000-$129,100. This position also is eligible for benefits and discretionary bonus. Ultimately, the salary may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, business sector, and geographic location, among other criteria.
