Brand Consulting - Project Manager, Music Partnerships

CAA Brand Consulting is the entertainment & sports marketing agency within CAA. Our mission is to drive cultural brand relevance for our clients by tapping into CAA's connectivity to pop culture. Leveraging our deep relationships and influence with studios, networks, labels, leagues, teams, venues, events, media, and content platforms, we provide a range of strategic and marketing consulting services to corporate clients around their entertainment & sports strategies.
The Role:
The Project Manager, Music Partnerships will support an account in CAA's Brand Consulting department in Los Angeles, specifically providing support for a highly matrixed telecom and entertainment client. The candidate will work in conjunction with internal account leads on managing the client's Hispanic marketing Latin music sponsorships portfolio, including radio partnerships, regional events and grassroots campaigns, drive to retail programs, and sweepstakes promotions. The role includes coordinating program/project timelines, working closely with partners and vendors, planning and managing onsite activations, and providing consistent, high-quality service and communications to clients and stakeholders.
Duties & Responsibilities:
• Track and manage deliverables of assigned partnerships including onsite activations, media entitlements, ticket banks, etc.
• Develop and manage program/project timelines, budget tracking and reconciliation.
• Work with agency partners, client support teams, partnership/venue contacts to deliver or request relevant information as needed by account services team.
• Create presentations for key meetings internally and externally, activation decks, run of show documents, campaign go-to-market plans, and program/event recaps.
• Serve as liaison between account and creative teams in managing creative development of marketing collateral, experiential assets, and event-related creative. Includes briefing designers and obtaining internal and client approvals.
• Ensure all agency protocols are being followed including vendor agreements, accounting processes, recaps, etc.
• Participate in team brainstorms and support with ideation research and packaging and act as liaison during creative process (e.g., renderings, signage, POS, etc.).
• Assist with educating clients and manage their needs and expectations.
• Day-to-day communication with clients, agency and radio partners to ensure streamlined campaign progress.
• Onsite event logistics such as inventory maintenance, brand ambassador training, vendor management, venue/property liaison, etc.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure streamlined execution of national programming and events as needed.
• Manage sweepstakes promotions and assist in prizing fulfillment.
• Forecast, measure and analyze impact of programs; produce reports to demonstrate campaign progress and KPI success.
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Advertising, or related discipline strongly preferred.
• 3+ years of client interfacing experience; radio promotions is a plus.
• Creative and strategic thinker.
• Strong writing, communications, and presentation skills.
• Project management and team-leading abilities, from strategy to execution to fulfillment.
• Self-starter who is also able to take direction.
• Ability to multi-task and keep up in a fast-paced environment.
• Extremely organized and detail oriented, with high importance put on deliverables and meeting deadlines.
• Strong use in Microsoft Suite (Word, Outlook, Teams, OneDrive) with strong use of Excel and PowerPoint required.
• Interest in multicultural marketing, Latin music, is a plus.
• Bilingual (Spanish/English) strongly preferred.
Location
This role will be based in our Los Angeles office Wednesday- Thursday, with flexibility to work remote on Monday and Friday.
Compensation
The annual base salary for this position is in the range of $65,000 - $75,000. This position also is eligible for benefits and discretionary bonus. Ultimately, the salary may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, business sector, and geographic location, among other criteria.
