The Department

CAA's Commercial Endorsements department creates global opportunities for the world's leading talent within the commercial space which includes: TV commercials, print ads, digital campaigns, social media campaigns, voiceover, and other media driven initiatives that connect our clients with brands.

The Role:

The Assistant will provide administrative support to an agent in both CAA's Commercial Endorsements and Global Client Strategy departments. The ideal candidate will have a passion for entertainment, media, and marketing with the aim to continue learning more about the many aspects of the representation business. In addition, the individual should be curious about the intersection of technology and entertainment and in exploring new and emerging areas of business particularly in digital media and technology to result in new business opportunities that drive revenue for CAA and our clients.

Responsibilities:
• Administrative duties include heavy phones, coordinating meetings and schedules, preparing expense reports, and producing correspondence
• Serve as first point of contact with clients, Agents and brand Executives
• Track and meticulously maintain grids of current and prospective clients, deals and execute excellent follow-up and follow through
• Create and maintain pitch decks and provide market research when needed
• Research opportunities related to CAA clients and up and coming technology trends
• Assist in identifying new business opportunities for our clients
• Work collaboratively and cross-departmentally over all verticals of the agency

Qualifications:
• 10+ months of administrative assistant experience
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, especially Microsoft Outlook, PowerPoint and Teams
• Ability to work well under pressure; meet tight deadlines; manage multiple projects and expectations; and maintain a sharp focus while managing competing priorities
• Ability to anticipate needs and execute time-sensitive matters in a fast-paced environment
• Attention to detail, meticulous organization and problem solving skills are a must
• Strong interpersonal skills, while understanding the importance of maintaining confidentiality
• Polished written and verbal communication is a must to be successful in this role
• Ability to work with limited supervision and adjust easily to changing priorities
• Team oriented and able to communicate and collaborate with employees at all levels
• Adept at quickly learning new processes, technology, and ability to assimilate oneself and become familiar with existing systems; offer process improvements, as needed
• A passion for pop culture, entertainment and emerging trends and a strong interest in exploring new business opportunities
• Experience with contracts a plus, not required
• BA/BS Degree preferred
