The Role

The Assistant will provide support to an agent that focuses on art, architecture and social media throughout the company. The assistant will support the agent with social media to attract and interact with targeted virtual communities and network users. The ideal candidate will have a passion for content creation, contemporary art and culture, its interpretation, production and care.

Responsibilities
• Social media content creation, data collection and analysis behind each post
• Suggesting recommendations to adjust the social media marketing strategy for optimal results
• Staying up to date on best practices and emerging trends in social media
• Assist in the creation and editing of written, video, and photo content
• Attend events and produce live social media content
• Administrative duties include handling phones, calendar management, correspondence, scheduling travel, preparing expense reports, and general office management tasks
• Conceptualizes, designs and produces a wide range of creative projects including presentation decks
• Assist with special projects, research, and compiling information as needed
• Serve as first point of contact with clients, agents and executives

Qualifications
• Have a solid understanding of how each social media channel work such as TikTok, Instagram etc. And how to optimize content so that it is engaging on those channels
• Some social networking experience and social analytics tools knowledge
• Strong Microsoft Office (Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.), Photoshop, Adobe InDesign
• Ability to work well under pressure; meet tight deadlines; manage multiple projects and expectations; maintain a sharp focus while managing competing priorities
• Attention to detail, follow-up, and strong organization skills are a must
• Strong interpersonal skills, while understanding the importance of maintaining confidentiality
• Ability to effectively communicate and interact with employees at all levels
• Adept at quickly learning new processes, technology, and ability to assimilate oneself and become familiar with existing systems

Education
• BA/BS from an accredited University or College preferred, not required
• MA in Art or Art History or related field a plus

Compensation

The base hourly rate for this position is in the range of $20.00-22.00 . This position also is eligible for benefits and discretionary bonus. Ultimately, wages may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, business sector, and geographic location, among other criteria.
