Job Description
YOUR MISSION
The role of Sr. Director, Head of Global Physical Security & Safety is responsible for ensuring that our people and property are protected across the Activision Blizzard portfolio (Activision Blizzard Corporate, Activision Publishing, Blizzard Entertainment, and King). This includes a workforce of 10,000+ personnel, over 60 global locations, and live events. You will own the strategy, development and deployment of a comprehensive global physical security and safety program. You will directly oversee the Director of Global Physical Security & Safety Ops, Global Physical Security Program Leader, and the Health and Safety Program. In total you will lead a team of eight personnel and oversee approximately 100 vendor staff.
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Strategic leadership for the global physical security and safety program
• Direct oversight of the global health & safety program
• Vendor management oversight of service providers such as physical security technology integrators, guard force, executive protection, threat management, etc.
• Budget management
• Lead and oversee large scale security/safety emergency response
• Oversight of the following global programs, policies, and procedures:
• GEROC (Global Emergency Response Ops Center)
• Physical security intelligence and investigations
• Guard force deployment
• Threat management
• Physical security technology (video surveillance, access control, etc.)
• Event security
• Executive protection
• Emergency response and resilience
• Health and Safety compliance
PLAYER PROFILE
• Must have at least 15 years' experience in physical security, corporate security, law enforcement, military, or any combination thereof, with at least 7 years of supervisory experience
• Must have multi-national corporate security experience
• BA or BS highly desired, MA or MS degree preferred. Degrees in fields such as criminal justice, homeland security, emergency management, business administration, or organizational leadership preferred
• Membership in professional networking groups such as ASIS, InfraGard, or other security groups preferred
• Possession of ICS-100 and NIMS-700 certifications along with knowledge in emergency response and resilience preferred
• Knowledge of OSHA and Health and Safety compliance required
• Must have experience with vendor management, budget management, and RFPs
• Must have knowledge of video surveillance, access control, and intrusion detection technology
• Must have experience with security operations centers, intelligence, threat management, and investigations
• Demonstrated understanding of best practices in physical security and safety strategies, principles, standards, policies, and procedures
• Must have effective time management, communication, technical writing, presentation development, organizational skills, project management, and leadership skills
• Ability to maintain professional composure when dealing with unusual and stressful circumstances
• Strong customer service and service delivery
• Position requires demonstrated integrity, honesty, poise, tact, and diplomacy
• Excellent organizational, interpersonal and leadership skills with ability to plan, coordinate and manage staff and operations
• Strong written and verbal communication skills

In the US, the standard base pay range for this role is $148,320.00 - $274,320.00 Annual. These values reflect the expected base pay range of new hires across all US locations. Ultimately, your specific range and offer will be based on several factors, including relevant experience, performance, and work location. In addition to a competitive base pay, employees in this role may be eligible for incentive compensation. Incentive compensation is not guaranteed.
