JOB DESCRIPTION
The Big Ten Network is looking for a Freelance Copy Administrator to join their team in Chicago, IL. As the Freelance Copy Administrator, you will report to the Manager of Traffic and be responsible for securing and inputting advertising copy instructions for all television advertising campaigns. Additionally, you will work closely with internal departments such as Traffic, Sales and Pricing and Planning. Externally, you will interface with sales clients and advertising agencies.

A SNAP SHOT OF YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
• Secure advertising copy (commercials) from network's local/national advertising clients and agencies
• Input and maintain traffic instructions to ensure that correct copy is scheduled and aired during network programming and in accordance with client/agency instructions
• Complete daily verification tasks, such as: compiling daily dub lists, pulling instruction confirmations, confirming ingest at master control and communicating last minute copy changes
• Work closely with network sales team to ensure that correct copy is secured, sending out daily report(s) identifying missing copy and/or instructions

WHAT YOU WILL NEED
• 1+ years of experience in network copy administration, traffic, or sales planning
• Strong mathematical and reasoning skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Excel
• Outstanding verbal and written communications skills
• Calm presence in high-pressure situations

NICE TO HAVE, BUT NOT A DEAL BREAKER
• Experience with Wide Orbit and electronic ad delivery systems (i.e. Yangeroo, Comcast Ad Delivery, etc.)
