We are looking for a marketing and growth executive to oversee the acquisition and sustainable subscriber growth for Bally Sports+. As VP, Growth, reporting to the VP of Direct-to-Consumer Marketing, you will lead the charge in owning and optimizing subscriber growth through efficient performance marketing, strategic partnerships, and impactful growth levers. The right person for this role combines a strategic mindset with analytical chops, creative sensibility, and an in-depth understanding of how to grow digital subscription businesses.

Bally Sports DTC – VP, Growth Responsibilities:
• Responsible for Growth function of Bally Sports+ including customer acquisition, Partner Marketing, Marketing Technology, and other marketing and promotional efforts related to driving and exceeding company subscriber targets
• Create and implement paid and earned initiatives across various marketing functions including performance marketing, product marketing and partnerships - this may include product pricing and offers
• Lead the strategy, planning, execution and optimization of user acquisition and performance marketing campaigns that drive conversion and efficiency across channels including paid search, paid social, programmatic, display, video, etc
• Establish CPA thresholds and ROAS targets by channel based on subscriber and financial targets
• Implement comprehensive test & learn strategy across channels to gain insights for ongoing optimizations
• Help set ambitious near- and long-term subscriber growth goals and define the optimal path to achieve those goals, considering Bally Sports variety of distribution channels, diverse customer base, and unique product portfolio
• Identify and evaluate opportunities for new product launches, distribution channels, and revenue models that drive meaningful subscriber growth and improve monetization opportunities
• Work cross-functionally with key partners in Finance, Marketing, Research, Analytics and Product to develop business insights that uncover subscriber growth levers and opportunities to improve customer value
• Identify market and operational risks and dependencies for these growth opportunities, diagnosing business challenges and developing executional strategies to mitigate or overcome them
• Work cross functionally and collaboratively across all teams to exceed goals
• Lead, mentor and build the team responsible for driving subscriber growth

Requirements:
• Minimum of 15 years overall experience
• MBA preferred
• Demonstrated success in driving customer growth for a prominent DTC brand/ SVOD platform preferred
• Successfully built, scaled and led high performing growth marketing teams
• Experience in using data and analytics for decision making and measuring marketing effectiveness as well as creating a culture of structured experimentation and iteration to drive growth
• Passion for the digital media landscape and understands the intricacies and distinct nuances of every step in the marketing funnel.
• Experience with media mix modeling a nice-to-have
• Adept at liaising with multiple stakeholders and thrive in matrix environments
• Passion for sports

The base salary compensation range for this role is $255,000 to $275,000. Final compensation for this role will be determined by various factors such as a candidates' relevant work experience, skills, certifications, and geographic location. Full time positions are eligible for benefits that include participation in a retirement plan, life and disability insurance, health, dental and vision plans, flexible spending accounts, sick leave, vacation time, personal time, parental leave and employee stock purchase plan.
