The Audacy Engineering team is looking for the right person to join us. Responsibilities

What You'll Do:
• Establishing best practices for the cloud across Audacy.
• Turning technical requirements into cloud architectural design.
• Comparing competing cloud technologies and providing analysis, and managing the adoption of those tools.
• Working closely with sec ops to manage privacy and help mitigate risk.
• Helping to manage our cloud budget, estimating costs, and optimizing our spend.
• Partnering with dev ops, engineering leaders, data engineers, sec ops, and other teams to plan and implement the best solutions possible with an emphasis on security,
• Participating in tech spikes and feasibility studies to help flesh out new ideas and unknowns.
• Contributing using your awesome verbal and written communication skills.
• Acquiring new skills, broadening existing skills, and contributing to others through knowledge sharing – we are better together.

Qualifications

About You:

Required Traits:
• You understand services offered by the major cloud providers (primarily AWS) and can design solutions to technical problems using these services.
• You have proven experience developing and implementing cloud strategies.
• You possess a solid understanding of Linux based systems.
• You take security seriously and understand the primary methods of cloud security including VPCs, parameters stores, service accounts, etc.
• You have some experience with cloud networking, DNS, and routing.
• You work well with competing tasks, and if things change, you pivot quickly and execute smoothly.
• AWS Certified Solution Architect cert.
Other cloud certifications are a plus e.g. GCP Architect, CCSK (Certificate of Cloud Security)
• 5+ years of enterprise or related experience.
