Associate Video Producer/Editor, Seasonal

Job Summary: The Hawks Studios Seasonal Associate Producer/Editor will report to the Director of Content. They will support the Hawks Studios department across video production needs and creative projects. This position will support our efforts to engage fans across social platforms, assist in content creation, and work alongside video producers in the organization.
The seasonal position will report October 6th through June 30th. This role is classified as a non-exempt hourly position, with a compensation rate of $20 per hour. This role is based on-site in Atlanta, GA. You will need to be able to travel to Atlanta Hawks office locations/and travel for video shoots in the Atlanta area when scheduled. This position is expected to be physically in office a minimum of three days a week.
Responsibilities:
• Assist in filming Atlanta Hawks & College Park Skyhawks games as assigned
• Log, source, and tag footage for video projects through our Media Asset Management system, Iconik
• Organize post-production workflow for Producers by sourcing highlights, interviews, and broll
• Film and edit videos of Atlanta Hawks community activations and events
• Assit in editing in arena-content and features
• Edit short form social content for Atlanta Hawks, College Park Skyhawks and State Farm Arena social channels
• Assit the Senior Producer/Editor with executing sponsored content series
• Ideate and brainstorm engaging social content
• Assit the Director of Content and Senior Producers on ''Taking Flight'' All-Access productions
• Flexible to work evenings and/or weekends depending on events that are taking place
• Handle confidential, privileged, and/or sensitive information carefully and with sensitivity
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications:
• 2-3 years minimum overall experience working in creative video production
• Experience working with a sports team, collegiate program, or creative agency highly preferred
• Strong skillset in Adobe Premiere Pro
• Familiarity with Cinema and Mirrorless Cameras, such as Sony FX6, FX3, etc.
• Willing to learn and adapt quickly to new environments and challenges.
• Must be organized, creative, enthusiastic, and attention to detail.
• Strong organizational skills, time management skills, and attention to detail are required.
• Must be a self-starter who exhibits a strong work ethic, reliability, and dependability.
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks/projects.
• Must have a strong interest in learning about the video production process.
• Must be able to handle confidential, privileged, and/or sensitive information carefully and with sensitivity.
• Must be flexible to work evenings and/or weekends depending on events that are taking place.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Bachelor's Degree in related field of work.
Working Conditions:
• Environment: Office setting, arena for gamedays, travel for video shoots.
• Hours: Full-time, typically Monday to Friday, with flexibility to work outside regular hours as needed.
