Amazon Studios is looking for a Senior Post Production Executive to support all movies projects produced in Mexico, from our Mexico City office. Amazon Studios is the entertainment content development and production arm of Amazon.com. Over the past 5 years, we have debuted award winning and ground-breaking programming (The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel, The Man in the High Castle, Un Extraño Enemigo). In 2021 we will continue to provide excellent content and break new ground in the television and film industry. The Senior Post Production Executive will track progress and manage the delivery of all assets from third party productions to Amazon Studios in Mexico. You will be responsible for maintaining schedules, following up on outstanding deliverables, and organizing assets for delivery to Prime Video (PV). The role will coordinate with third-party vendors on work related to the editing and versioning of assets, ensuring highest quality standards, tracking expenditures for all production department related work orders, and distributing assets for Public Relations, Marketing and International Localization needs. This role will work directly with the Content Acquisition and Development teams in Los Angeles, Seattle and Miami. You will be the main point of contact in Mexico for the Operations teams in Los Angeles and Seattle. You will also evaluate new post-related products and provide thoughtful advice on potential risks and issues in a wide range of asset management areas, including potential vendors, archival solutions and new technologies.
Oversees all series projects in development, production and post production for scripted and unscripted content
Evaluates technical workflows
Reviews budgets and vendor bids
Analyzes post schedule and delivery timelines
Acts a liaison from producers to Los Angeles-based International Series Post Production team

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

Basic qualifications

5 + years of experience as Post Producer/Post Executive or the equivalent
Effective written and verbal communication skills in Spanish and English, written and verbal
Organized and with great attention to detail
Understanding of budgeting, scheduling and technical workflows
Experience with a variety of digital media workflows
Experience with delivery of assets to studio
Post/Editorial problem solving ability

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Preferred qualifications

Experience in various film/television post-production environments
Effective written and oral communication skills in other languages
Experience with scheduling post vendors, and creating schedules from the beginning to end of production cycles
Experience with delivery of assets to a studio
Experience with a variety of digital media workflows
Knowledge of wide array of media asset types
Experience with International subtitling and dubbing workflows
Ability to work independently while being able to contribute successfully to cross-functional teams
Excellent organizational skills; ability to manage multiple projects at once, follow through and meet deadlines
