En tant que Développeuse ou Développeur de jeux IA sénior, vous créez et supportez des systèmes, mécaniques et outils d'intelligence artificielle. Vous travaillez étroitement avec des équipes de conception et de développement afin de les guider vers une implémentation robuste et évolutive. Vous collaborez avec vos pairs et vous intégrez votre travail avec les autres ingrédients du jeu afin d'offrir aux joueuses et aux joueurs une expérience unique.

As Senior Game AI Developer, you create and support AI systems, features and tools. You work closely with designers and other developers, guiding them towards a robust and evolutive implementation. You collaborate with peers and you make sure your work integrates well with the other game ingredients, providing the player with a unique gameplay experience.

Joining Amazon Games Montréal means taking part in the foundation of a new video game studio that operates at a focused, human scale; participating in the creation of a new intellectual property, a fresh take on the AAA multiplayer online battle arena game (yes, a MOBA); and collaborating with a team of well-rounded experts who have a great time working together. - Implement the main AI systems and features of the game;
- Build systems that will serve as a base for other developers;
- Work with your peers to ensure reliability, performance and sustainability of the game features;
- Contribute to the technical and game visions.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or related technical field
- Expertise in C++
- 10+ years of experience developing game features for AAA video games
- 5+ years of experience developing AI features for AAA video games
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, in French and English; due to the nature of the role that requires interaction with other Amazon entities globally and with Amazon employees and stakeholders in other provinces in Canada, bilingualism French and English is required for this position.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with AI behavior and navigation
- Experience in machine learning
- Experience with Unreal 5 or similar game engine
