En tant que Développeuse ou Développeur de jeux IA - Robots, vous créez et supportez des systèmes, mécaniques et outils d'intelligence artificielle. Votre travail influence directement le comportement et l'intelligence des bots du jeu, permettant d'élever l'expérience des joueuses et des joueurs. Vous travaillez étroitement avec les équipes de conception et de développement afin de les guider vers une implémentation robuste et évolutive. Vous collaborez avec vos pairs et veillez à ce que votre travail s'intègre parfaitement aux autres éléments du jeu, afin d'offrir aux joueuses et aux joueurs une expérience de jeu unique.

As Game AI Developer - Bots, you create and support AI systems, features and tools. Your work directly influences the behaviour and intelligence of in-game bots, taking the gameplay experience to new heights. You work closely with designers and other developers, guiding them towards a robust and evolutive implementation. You collaborate with your peers and ensure that your work integrates seamlessly with other game elements to provide players with a unique gameplay experience.

- Implement AI systems and features, including player bots and new player onboarding systems;
- Work with your peers to ensure reliability, performance and sustainability of the game features;
- Contribute to the game vision.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related technical field
- Expertise in C++
- 5+ years of experience developing game features for AAA video games
- 3+ years of experience developing AI features for AAA video games
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, in French and English; due to the nature of the role, which requires interaction with other Amazon entities globally and with Amazon employees and stakeholders in other provinces in Canada, bilingual French and English is required for this position.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with AI behaviour and navigation
- Experience developing player bots
- Experience in machine learning
- Experience with Unreal 5 or similar game engine
