BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or related technical field
- Expertise in C++
- 5+ years of experience developing game features for AAA video games
- 2+ years of experience developing frontend features for AAA video games
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, in French and English; due to the nature of the role that requires interaction with other Amazon entities globally and with Amazon employees and stakeholders in other provinces in Canada, bilingualism French and English is required for this position.

DESCRIPTION

En tant que Développeuse ou Développeur de jeux front-end (UI), vous créez et supportez les systèmes et fonctionnalités frontales du jeu, tels que le HUD et les menus. Vous contribuez également à l'implémentation de systèmes de jeu. Vous travaillez étroitement avec des équipes de conception UX et de développement de jeu afin de les guider vers une implémentation robuste et évolutive. Vous collaborez avec vos pairs et vous intégrez votre travail avec les autres ingrédients du jeu afin d'offrir aux joueuses et aux joueurs une expérience unique.

As Game Frontend (UI) Developer, you create and support frontend systems and features, such as the HUD and the menus. You also contribute to the implementation of gameplay systems. You work closely with UX designers and other developers, guiding them towards a robust and evolutive implementation. You collaborate with peers and you make sure your work integrates well with the other game ingredients, providing the player with a unique user experience.

- 2+ years of experience developing multiplayer features for AAA video games
- Experience with Unreal 5 or similar game engine
