En tant qu'Artiste environnement 3D, vous créez une variété d'éléments artistiques de haute qualité. Tout en respectant la direction artistique, vous contribuez à l'esthétique des mappes et de l'environnement en développant des cibles visuelles. Vous collaborez également avec d'autres spécialités dans la conception d'espaces de jeu et en assurez la jouabilité.

As a 3D Environment Artist, you create a variety of high-quality artistic assets. While respecting artistic direction, you contribute to the maps and environment esthetic by developing visual targets. You also collaborate with other specialties in designing game spaces and ensure game playability.

Joining Amazon Games Montréal means taking part in the foundation of a new video game studio that operates at a focused, human scale; participating in the creation of a new intellectual property, a fresh take on the AAA multiplayer online battle arena game (yes, a MOBA); and collaborating with a team of well-rounded experts who have a great time working together. Key job responsibilities
Responsibilities
- Create models and assembling scenes for organic and architectural environments based on a given narrative;
- Participate in the development of shaders, textures and lighting for the final rendering of levels;
- Build briefs and assembling reference material;
- Collaborate with the design to overcome art/design challenges;
- Ensure that the art style is consistent with the overall artistic direction;
- Ensure the application of best practices, production pipelines and workflows.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

Basic Qualifications
- 7+ years of experience in creating environments for AAA games
- Portfolio with examples of 3D elements created from start to finish
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, in French and English; due to the nature of the role that requires interaction with other Amazon entities globally and with Amazon employees and stakeholders in other provinces in Canada, bilingualism French and English is required for this position.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Preferred Qualifications
- Portfolio showing skills in composition and visual narration
- Experience with the Unreal Engine is a strong plus
- Ability to work in a team
- Attention to detail
- Good task and priority management skills
