Job Description
Activision is looking for an experienced and inspirational, technology savvy business leader to lead Demonware, Activision's online technology organization. This Studio Head, VP level position is responsible for Demonware's overall delivery, operations and strategic direction. They will represent Demonware at an executive level within Activision and report to the Activision CTO. This role is based in Dublin, Ireland or Vancouver, Canada.

Demonware delivers large scale services that are critical to our business, enabling players to play, progress, purchase and engage with our franchises. They work closely with game studios and other Activision teams to build new features and experiences, and they capture and present vast amounts of data to our business.

Demonware is a mature and growing organization of over 300 staff distributed globally. They have seen increased demand for services year on year, due to solid studio collaboration, consistent reliable delivery, and cost effectiveness. There is an established leadership team, structure, and business practices, which need to be maintained and refined.

Responsibilities
• Ensure the smooth running of Demonware, including:
• The delivery and maintenance of online services for the portfolio of Activision games.
• The delivery of strategic initiatives for Activision's online platform.
• Managing our large staffing and budgeting process, across multiple countries and regions.
• Overall business rhythm of planning and reporting.
• Be an ambassador for Demonware, embodying our values and guiding our culture as we continue to focus on being an inclusive, people-first place to work.
• Manage and develop Demonware's leadership to ensure effective and efficient delivery of online technology and strategic initiatives.
• Maintain strong relationships with Activision game studio leadership and Activision senior management, including reporting to the executive leadership team.
• Engage Demonware's leadership team in the creation and execution of strategy, blending Activision goals and Demonware direction.
• Constantly seek opportunities to improve life at Demonware, maintain high engagement and our delivery to Activision and game studio customers.
• Partner with business leaders across Activision, Blizzard and King to identify and execute on mutually beneficial initiatives across business units.
• Be the final point of escalation, making informed, logical and fair decisions.

Ideal Experience & Attributes
• 10 or more years leading and growing high-performing online technology teams.
• A detailed understanding of modern 24/7 ''as a service'' delivery.
• Practical experience in strategy creation and organizational design.
• Ability and willingness to understand technical nuance.
• Seasoned communicator at the executive level.
• Strong sense of ownership and duty of care towards colleagues.
• Integrity, excellent judgment, and discretion.
• Practical experience with video game development.
