AV Systems Specialist (Temporary)
Our call for duty:

We are looking for an AV Systems Specialist who will be responsible for leading a series of internal and external AV events across or within our Activision umbrella. These events vary from supporting our experiential marketing team, corporate events, studios, & all other internal departments. This is inclusive of providing support through an Agency or in person to some international productions across Latin America, Europe and Canada. The ideal candidate will be an inclusive leader who is motivated to lead a high-performing group focused on delivering exceptional solutions for the production of
our everyday event business es . This individual will help with the overall audio-visual strategy amidst the rapid scaling at Activision while focusing on innovation and partnerships across the globe. 

Your Mission :

As the AV Systems Specialist y o u will provide your audio-visual expertise to be the main point of contact, support the set-up, execution and teardown of equipment for all events . You will need to have the ability to setup, run and troubleshoot all general AV equipment i.e video switchers, projection, audio mixers, lighting equipment and consoles, as well as have the ability to set up, run and troubleshoot video conferencing and streaming equipment ( i.e encoders, streaming software /hardware and basic network configurations) . You will be responsible for maintaining the team's roadmap from design/consultation to execution. This role should focus on hiring and developing relations across production companies, agencies and or AV vendors across the country and international . Your responsibilities in helping to craft the initiatives to bring the events team to the next level is a high priority . You will lead the technical representation for our cross-functional partners and vendors to help, design, manage, and execute their vision for each event . You will utilize metrics to measure success, customer satisfaction, make strategic decisions, and help the team scale. You will partner with cross-functional teams, senior leadership and other regional leaders to ensure a consistent and exceptional AV experience across all of
our pillars.

• Lead & mentor skilled agency AV producers so we can grow and deliver the best events with their support and operations.

Your s kills & Experience :
• 3+ years' experience in a technical event production role.
• Strong experience operating and supporting live events (corporate, hospitality, and or not limited to other major event venues)
• A s trategic thinker and leader, with adept problem-solving skills.
• Strong AV technical background with expertise in IT Infrastructure with an a bility to set-up, configure and operate multimedia AV .
• Knowledge of IT best practices around data security
• Deep knowledge
of videoconferencing and streaming equipment and software. ( BlueJeans , Zoom, Teams, Webex ).
• Driving and optimizing deployment-related workflows to ensure a streamlined process for all hardware and software requests.
• Experience leading vendors and dispersed functions.
• Builder of best practices for video, lighting and audio quality via live or stream.
• Ability to collaborate and coordinate with internal partners and external vendors across a global organization.
• Comfortable giving technical a dvice to presenters , leaders and staff
on tech requirements and promote options to solve all potential issues .
• Ability to prioritize and stay
organized in a fast-paced and high-volume environment.
• Experience in reading, writing technical-oriented documentation such as CAD, Blueprints, P NG files, 2D/3D renders, etc.
• Inspiring individual focused on performance, development and direct reports when and where applicable (show sites).
