Job Description
Be a part of the talented team that brings America the #1 morning show! Good Morning America has an opening for a Coordinating Producer. The ideal candidate will have extensive TV production experience including but not limited to booking, field producing, live shot producing and control room experience.

Responsibilities:

Must be passionate about books! The job entails overseeing literary bookings for daily segments as well as network-wide packages in a fast-paced news environment. The candidate will work closely on a daily basis with the publishing industry and will be required to keep track of every high profile and news-making book well in advance of its publication date. Impeccable organization skills are mandatory. The job entails writing extensive network proposals under tight deadlines, prepping guests for the show, live producing segments both in studio and in the field, and pitching and vetting stories thoroughly. The candidate will also be responsible for overseeing The GMA Book Club. Must have strong literary judgement tailored to the show's audience, an instinct for bestselling future books, and a basic entrepreneurial/business development understanding. This position will require flexibility with working hours which could include early mornings, evenings, late nights and/or weekends, there will also be travel involved.

Basic Qualifications:
• Minimum of five years' experience in a fast-paced news environment or on a similar live broadcast.
• Must be a well-seasoned booker and field producer and have experience with producing live shots and travelling on breaking news stories.
• Candidate needs to possess strong editorial judgment along with the ability to write well, multi-task, prioritize, and must love to read.

Preferred Qualifications:
• Strong relationships in the publishing industry, adept at utilizing social media outlets, experience in a control room setting.

Required Education
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience, MBA welcome
