Theatrical Distribution Coordinator

Job Description

A24 is seeking an organized, proactive coordinator to join the Theatrical Distribution team. This team is responsible for the strategy and execution of all of our theatrical film releases, including planning and analytics, sales, in-theater marketing, trailer placement, and revenue collection. The coordinator will be a key member of this bi-coastal team, supporting and servicing each of the core parts of the function while creating workflow efficiency, and should be an operational thinker with meticulous attention to detail. This role can be based in NYC or LA.

Responsibilities include:
• Coordinate key distribution operational functions, including:
• Print deliverables between the internal teams and our external vendors
• Theatrical distribution systems, software and accounts
• Coordinate fulfillment and quality control of all in-theater screenings, engagements and other activities, including A24's internal screening room
• Manage warehousing of information within department systems (i.e., TDS)
• Coordinate distribution of in-theater marketing materials and assets
• Perform ad-hoc administrative duties including, but not limited to; scheduling and travel coordination
• Interface with all other relevant A24 departments and external partners on an ongoing basis; represent A24 and the team professionally and personally

Ideal Candidate:
• 2+ years as an assistant/coordinator in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment
• Passion for and interest in film distribution
• Organized, systems-thinker who can take problems and translate them into effective workflows
• Meticulous attention to detail
• Technical skills including Google Suite, Excel, Zoom and ability to learn new systems (i.e., TDS)
• Ability to communicate clearly and efficiently
• Humble, diligent, resourceful

Our target compensation range for this role is between $23/hour and $26/hour. We do not use formal job titles internally and similarly named positions may have different compensation levels. Actual starting salary within the range will depend on various considerations, including: work experience, skills, specializations, and training. This role is also eligible for an annual performance bonus, including both cash and equity components, competitive healthcare, as well as other employee benefits.
