Job Description
A24 is currently seeking a Temporary Business Affairs Coordinator / Contracts Manager to provide support to the Legal and Business Affairs team working across A24's international distribution of its film and television slate. This role is expected to last a minimum of six months and is ideal for a motivated self-starter with a strong interest in international film and television distribution, intellectual property, and film finance. The role is one of support for the Legal & Business Affairs team and is a great opportunity to gain skills, knowledge and exposure in film and television sales, distribution and financing. This position is based in London with a requirement of 2-3 days in office.

Initial Responsibilities
• Drafting distribution agreements, notices of assignment and other ancillary distribution-related documentation (e.g., intermediary exhibits, budget confirmation letters, chain of title affidavits, and non-disturbance letters).
• Serving as primary point of contact for administrative needs, including overseeing and maintaining signature collection, contract management, and internal document file systems.
• Maintaining and circulating a variety of internal tracking documents, charts and other project documents.
• Assisting as needed with legal delivery to A24's international partners.
• Liaising with various A24 teams to collect and relay information related to rights management, financing, delivery and collections.
Ideal Candidate
• At minimum a bachelor's degree, having a JD, LLB, or similar qualification would be a plus.
• Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in business affairs, legal or administrative assistant roles, preferably in the entertainment industry or at a law firm, is preferred but not required (full-time internships / externships qualify).
• Highly organized and with exceptional attention to detail.
• Ability to juggle multiple, competing priorities, pivot quickly, think practically and be solution-oriented.
• Strong desire to learn and develop skills and a keen interest in film and television.

We do not use formal job titles internally and similarly named positions may have different compensation levels. Actual starting salary will depend on various considerations, including: work experience, skills, specializations, and training. This role is also eligible for an annual performance bonus, including both cash and equity components, competitive healthcare, as well as other employee benefits.
