THE DIVISION'S STORY

Content Services and Operations consists of a wide range of media centric roles. We are responsible for managing the entire life cycle of A+E's programming. This is where we produce, transform, broadcast and distribute content as well as run the technical infrastructure for the Media Supply chain. The Production Assistant provides operational support to our Stamford Content Creation team. Responsible for maintaining research databases, tracking media movement, creating Rights Bible materials and general support to our producer/AP teams in alignment with departmental production plans. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, extremely organized and an eager problem-solver.

MORE ABOUT WHAT YOU'LL DO:

Research & Edit Prep
• Maintaining existing database templates to track source media for compilation episodes.
• 3rd Part Archival – Uploading archival elements (provided by producer/AP team) into out edit systems
• Logging incoming footage (i.e. Barrett Jackson, Counting Cars Under the Hood)
• Revising scripts; compiled from various sources, copying and pasting from existing scripts, to create revised ''new'' script in support of producer/AP team.

Licensing, Clearances & Rights Bibles

Create and/or Collect all New Core Rights Bible Material
• Shot Sheet
• Music Cue
• Credits
• Script
• Textless Log/Lower 3rd Log

Production Scheduling & Tracking
• Assist AP's in maintaining all project tracking systems in Airtable.
• Assist AP's in tracking media asset elements requested for edit.

YOUR STORY:
• Bachelor's degree in Television Production/Communication or equivalent.
• Must be a team player, multitasker, inquisitive, problem solver
• Work collaboratively
• Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail
• Basic knowledge of production and post-production workflows
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
• Familiar with production management tools such as AirTable but not required

Please note project assignment associates are engaged to provide service to A+E Networks on a temporary basis in connection with a specific project. Project assignment associates are hired and employed through a third party vendor with a duration/tenure of no longer than eighteen (18) months.
