contingent on the course of the COVID variants and federal, state and local safety guidelines and

recommendations. As we look forward, the majority of our employees will have flexibility that allows them to choose a predominantly remote, predominantly in-office, or hybrid setup.
Our official in-office locations in the United States includes LA, NYC, Stamford, and Chicago, and we have several other states in which employees may work remotely if their role isn't one that requires them to be in or near the office.

Our Research & Insights TEAM is compromised of wizards who practice the craft of ''art and science.'' We spend some of our time looking back at performance-but even more time looking forward making actionable recommendations for growing our business. We specialize in content, audience and revenue insights across all platforms. Come check out our pioneering work in predictive modeling, performance marketing and consumers insights.

Part of the A+E Networks Insights Group, the role is integral to the crafting of consumer-led insights via the analysis of primary and syndicated research sources. Individual must be inspired to be an active participant and crave the ability to form a strong POV. Further, person should be a creative thinker who wants to not just create and manage consumer research, but also interpret results and inform strategy.

MORE ABOUT WHAT YOU'LL DO:
• Manage primary research studies to provide strategic planning support to marketing and content teams.
• Generate data-led insights via examining secondary research sources.
• Help in transforming research provided by suppliers into presentations that come to life and resonate with internal clients.
• Transform disparate datasets (e.g., primary, syndicated, social) into insights that can be interpreted by persons unfamiliar with audience terminology.
• Present findings internally, either in the setting of active meetings or by being the sole voice relaying information.
• Be both an independent worker who can determine an appropriate course of action and someone who thrives in a collaborative structure with a dynamic team.
• Excellent project management skills are essential, not only for their own responsibilities but also in helping Senior leaders charge through department goals.
• Perform targeting exercises in order to help bring current and future audiences to life holistically.
• Help identify tune-in motivators and then track viewer behavior across a breadth of platforms.
• Work closely with internal business partners to identify nuanced ways in which opportunity audiences can be identified and targeted.

WHAT YOU'LL LEARN:
• Functional mastery via exposure to multiple disciplines of research: primary, syndicated, social, behavioral, etc.
• How to craft cohesive stories of our consumers leveraging multiple data streams, gaining methodological fluency and fluidity, and maximizing impact across A+E's consumer-centric strategies
• Best practices of injecting the voice of the consumer throughout our brands' and content's lifecycles
• An in-depth understanding of the media and entertainment ecosystem, including traditional and emerging platforms, content creators and distributors, etc.
• Executive presence and polish via regular opportunities to present to and interface with stakeholders across multiple departments and levels of seniority

YOUR STORY: [+BEHAVIORS] (what you need to have)
• 4+ years of experience in qualitative and quantitative research methodologies and techniques.
• Bachelor's degree required; masters or graduate degree highly desirable.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Extensive experience planning, fielding, and managing research projects independently from inception to conclusion. This includes survey design, interfacing with partners, QA, analysis, visualization, and presentation.
• Experience compiling, analyzing and interpreting information from various research sources (e.g., primary, syndicated, social listening, etc.)
• Experience with various research methodologies and tools and a keen understanding of when each is applicable.
• Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally, including presenting to stakeholders with varied levels of comfort with consumer research.
• Expert in Microsoft Office; some experience with statistics/data analysis software (e.g., Q Reader, SPSS) required.
• Knowledge of Nielsen and related software systems (e.g., NPower, Arianna, Star Trak), MRI, MRI Fusion a plus.
• Highly organized; able to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
• Passionate about content, excited about the world of research, and infused with an entrepreneurial spirit.
• Will never deliver a ''data dump'' and will always want to move on to the next exciting project.
