The Role

As an Insights Analyst Intern on the EMEA Insights team, you'll be part of a group of researchers and analysts responsible for solving problems and conducting analyses that allows Rioters to make more player-focused decisions. You will contribute to trend reports for Rioters across EMEA and analyse massive amounts of data to help shape publishing and product strategy. Your understanding of data will ensure that you're an advocate for players and can provide strategic guidance about their wants, needs, and behaviors. You will report directly to the Analytics Manager of EMEA Insights.

The internship is planned for 11 months on a full time basis, closing date for applications is Friday, June 24th.

Responsibilities:

As an Insights Analyst at Riot Dublin you can:
• Collect and analyse complex data to understand our audience and their behaviors
• Provide strategic insights to test teams' assumptions and inform their actions
• Empower stakeholders through data visualization (e.g. setting up Tableau dashboards) and storytelling (e.g. Powerpoint)
• Communicate complex player insights in a simple, meaningful way

Required Qualifications:
• Studying or recently graduated from a Bachelors or Masters in Data Analytics, Statistics, Economics, Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, Applied Mathematics, Management Information Systems or a related discipline
• Experience writing SQL or python queries

Desired Qualifications:
• Experience with Tableau or Pyspark is a bonus - we can train you on the job
