Who are we hiring?
The Student Associate Motion Designer is part of the creative team including motion designers, marketing designers, writers, and shooter-editors. The primary role will be to work with the Motion Design team.
What will you do?
• Design engaging motion graphics for Event Presentation (In Arena) for Knicks, Rangers, Sports Properties, and Westchester Knicks home games
• Responsible for updating reoccurring game day requests, versioning out player and alumni headshots, create complementary graphics for videos
• Create content for all signage sizes and specs within our in the arena space
• Create motion graphics for social and digital platforms across the Knicks and Rangers brands
• Assist with other graphic design needs
What do you need to s/ucceed?
• Hard working and determined attitude
• Self-motivated, willingness to jump on any request that may come in
• Basic knowledge and understanding of Adobe After Effects, Photoshop and Illustrator
• Familiarity with After Effects Plugins
• Knowledge of Cinema 4D is a plus
• A good eye for design, type layout as well as a sense of creativity
• Detailed orientated, checks your work for spelling, keyframes, rendering errors.
STUDENT ASSOCIATE REQUIRMENTS:
• Undergraduate candidates with a class status of junior or above
• GPA of 3.2 or above
• Provide a letter from your school verifying enrollment
• Available to work a minimum 21-hour work week and a maximum 35-hour work week (35 hours required for the summer semester)
Hourly Pay Range
$22.50 - $28.50 USD
