As an ESPN Production Intern, you will work with the ESPN China team to support ESPN's content creation for our sports fans in China, as well as to service ESPN's other global platforms and partners during their daily content production.

A Day in the Life:
• Organize and distribute show production elements and materials
• Support staff, Talent, Producers, Associate Producers, and Production Assistants on the systematic processes of assigned sport/show unit
• Work with upper management on scheduling of assigned personnel regarding event and show assignments, tracking personnel overtime and vacation time
• Plan, request and allocate production facility needs of assigned sports/shows
• Operate within the context of defined production goals and objectives while following established corporate and production operational policies
• Responsible for dealing with time-sensitive materials and decisions
• Remain accessible and is often required to work non- traditional days/hours during production peak times
• Domestic traveling for productions may be required

What You Bring to the Role:
• Speak, read and write bilingual capabilities in Mandarin Chinese and English
• Passion for the NBA, and strong knowledge of other major US and global sports
• Unparalleled knowledge of the China sports market and Chinese sports fans
• Fluency with both Chinese and global social media platforms
• Great work ethic, detail oriented with strong organizational skills, willingness to learn new skills

Preferred Qualifications:
• Non-linear video editing skill using Adobe Premiere or Final Cut Pro
• Experience working with a prosumer camera or DSLR to shoot videos
• Demonstrated leadership skills in an organization, school or activity

Internship Eligibility:
• Must be enrolled in a school/college/university taking at least one class in the semester/quarter (spring/fall) prior to participation in the internship program OR graduated within the past 6 months
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Must not have completed one year of continual employment on a Disney internship or program
• Must possess unrestricted work authorization

Program Dates: The approximate program dates are May through July 2023. Interns will work 40 hours per week and need to provide full availability throughout the internship.

Work Location: This position is based in Bristol, CT.
