Lighting Intern (Star Wars Jedi: Survivor)

We're looking for a Lighting intern to join the Star Wars team. We are only considering students who will be enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's program in the Summer of 2023 and are slated to graduate in Fall of 2023 or Spring of 2024.

You will work closely with other lighting team members and have the opportunity to learn, as well as make a contribution to the Jedi franchise. This internship will be a great opportunity to gain experience working on a large scale game development project and to receive mentorship and guidance from a team of experienced lighting professionals.

What You'll Do…
• Learn and document lighting workflows
• Research and development for future lighting workflows and methods
• Initial lighting of game environments.
• Work with and learn from our experienced lighting department.

Desired Qualifications...
• Currently enrolled in a college, university degree program
• Authorized to work in the US
• Experience Unreal 4, lighting, and rendering

Portfolio Requirements...Provide a link to an online presentation, or attach documents to your resume to showcase your work. We are looking for a portfolio focused on video game lighting. These could be professional work, college projects, personal work, or relights of pre-made environments.

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

The hourly pay ranges listed below are for the defined geographic market pay zones in these states. If you reside outside of these locations, a recruiter will advise on the hourly pay range for your specific location.

EA has listed the hourly pay ranges it in good faith expects to pay applicants for this role in the locations listed, as of the time of this posting. Salary offered will be determined based on numerous relevant business and candidate factors including, for example, education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, and business or organizational needs.

HOURLY PAY RANGES
• California (depending on location e.g. Los Angeles vs. Sacramento):
º $16 - $18

The hourly rate is just one part of the overall compensation at EA. We also offer a package of benefits including paid time off (3 weeks per year to start), 80 hours per year of sick time, 16 paid company holidays per year, 10 weeks paid time off to bond with baby (following 1 year of service), medical/dental/vision insurance, life insurance, disability insurance, and 401(k) to regular full-time employees.
