Qualifications:
• You are currently studying at a university/vocational school that has a planned internship period (not a graduate)
• You are available to commence a full-time, 12 month placement in July 2025
• You are located and eligible to work in Guildford, UK without the need for visa/relocation support
Responsibilities:
• Sculpt High-Res 3D characters and their outfits, both realistic and stylised
• Create Low Poly models with UVs
• Texturise them with Substance Painter (or equivalent 3D or 2D packages)
• Work with other departments (Animation/Design) so the asset follows technical guidelines
• You will learn and be given the opportunity to put in the technical standards for the clothing pipeline
Required Skills:
• Zbrush
• Substance Painter
• Photoshop
• Maya (or equivalent 3D Package)
• Character modelling and texturing
• Good understanding of human anatomy and clothing behaviour
• Experience with shapes, colours, lighting, expressions and poses
• Receive feedback from Art Directors and Leads
Desired Skills:
• Functional knowledge of PBR and material surfacing
• Knowledge of Unreal, Unity or any other Game Editor from personal projects.
