Manager, Broadcast Studio Operations
EA – Redwood Shores, CA

EA is seeking an experienced Manager to lead broadcast studio operations and expansion. In this position, you will play an integral role in the planning and management of EA Broadcast facilities. From venue selection to equipment, staffing and usage, you will help shape the future of content production. Expert production knowledge and communication skills are the key drivers of this role. The ideal candidate will have the production knowledge and expertise to thrive in the live and feature environments with the interpersonal skills to work with and lead multiple projects simultaneously. With each partner we work with, each has their own goals and KPI's, it will be your job to manage those needs and create a cohesive program that reaches the quality and engagement that EA demands.

Responsibilities:
• Coordinate studio operations needs including equipment management, new set builds, lighting installation, maintenance, etc.
• Manage upgrades to the studio, project managing improvements and maintenance with internal teams
• Manage external vendors and contracts as it relates to technical integration, design and construction
• Oversee the integration of remote studios; facilitating conversations, managing timelines.
• Manage a team of Broadcast Operations Coordinators
• Work in partnership with the Sr. Technical Production Manager on a wholistic strategy for facility and technology use
• Lead studio operations to ensure maximum facility usage. Develop guiding principles for studio scheduling to ensure proper turnaround times and resolve any scheduling conflicts.
• Drive the implementation of new software for the team, managing sourcing and licensing.
• Oversee asset management and logistics
• Partner with stakeholders and various teams within our department and the larger EA organization to drive complex initiatives to completion
• Lead the creation of standard operating procedures for new processes and workflows
• Constant monitoring of the gaming and video space to help determine broadcast innovations

Qualifications:
• 7+ years in a production management role, delivering top quality content
• Degree in Communications, Broadcasting, and/or equivalent work experience
• MUST have a passion for gaming and broadcast
• Expert knowledge of studio operations and equipment
• Expert knowledge of live production including directing, lighting, graphics, transmission and overall control room workflow
• Working knowledge of non-linear editing
• Experience with project management tools
• Exceptional communication, creative, and organizational skills
• Work well in a team, as well as on your own
• Be able to juggle multiple projects at once
