DESCRIPTION:
PURPOSE OF POSITION:
Ideally we find an eager, driven, hard working person who has experience working with a TV Station's creative services and sales department.
This position reports directly to the Creative Services Director with a dotted line to VP of Sales.
PRIMARY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Motivate and challenge creative team members.
Have a proven track record in content marketing, development, project management, strategic planning and operations.
Knowledge of Program content that is tied to Sponsor integration
Act as liaison with News management for image and special report promotion.
Use and interpret research to develop and maintain marketing strategy on-air, online and on social.
Assist in producing, writing, and edit strategic image campaigns, topicals and special project promotions.
Oversee the marketing and promotion of sales initiatives
Maintain daily and monthly calendars for production assignments.
Collaborate with Design Director in the creation of branding elements, logos, print ads, etc.
Collaborate with station partners and sponsors on marketing big events.
Be able to juggle multiple projects at the same time
Understands TV stations and the future of the business
Strong people skills with focus on client relationships
Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
QUALIFICATIONS:
PREFFERED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Min 3 -5 years TV/cable/digital media experience as a manager or senior producer. Min 5 years experience in media promotions. Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite and other non-linear editing platforms.
