Level Design Internship

As a Level Designer, you will design the layout, flow, pacing and overall player experience of a level or a part of a level.

You will be an essential part of the entire process - from level concept, layout blockouts and all the way to polish and bug fixing.

Under the guidance of the Studio Level Design Director, you will:
• Be included in the team and work as a level designer in a level pod.
• Create a level that enhances the core mechanics and creative vision of the game.
• Work closely with other content creators to create the best experience for the player.
• Actively participate in playtests, peer-reviews and feedback sessions.

What We Look For
• Knowledge of how to blockout a level in a 3D-editor.
• Understanding of current trends and design philosophies in the industry. Familiar with specific mechanics and gameplay loops in contemporary games.
• Some technical knowledge and familiarity with industry standard tools (Unity, Unreal, Photoshop, PowerPoint and SketchUp)
• Creative and curious mindset.

This internship is unpaid and temporary employment. It needs to be associated with a university education or any other type of education that has an internship period planned into the education plan, for example LiA.
