Our Executive Support Professionals are highly-respected because their skills are essential to the success of the company. You'd be part of a dynamic, fast-paced team at our state-of-the-art broadcast facility in The Woodlands. This location serves as the central technical operations point for the Disney Media Networks. This can include Disney Cable, FX Networks, National Geographic, Networks, ABC Television Network, and related streaming networks.

This position currently reports to Director, Network Origination & Director, Program Operations.

The Executive Assistant role is an essential member of the team responsible for keeping our Disney media available in the homes, and on the screens, for our millions of viewers. It goes without saying that there will be expense reports, travel planning, hundreds of phone messages and endless calendar jockeying, but this job is very much about people, about forming strong relationships with your leaders and co-workers, and about understanding how to leverage the human capital within the Disney enterprise to help your executives flourish. As the ''face'' of your executives within The Walt Disney Company, your professionalism, loyalty and attitude are a reflection of the office, and as such, are a critical component to its success. Responsibilities:
On any given day you might:
• Coordinate and plan travel arrangements, bookings, and reservations for management and executives
• Effectively manage calendars and schedules for management and executives in order to optimize their daily appointments; this includes balancing competing priorities and appointments
• Assist with incoming phone calls and other inquiries to determine the appropriate point of contact/required action items
• Track the inventory of office supplies and order restock when needed; this includes overseeing office purchase orders, expense reports, and vendor contracts
• Provide support for all food and beverage requests
• Schedule conference rooms, meetings, and video chats
• Assist in the oversight and coordination of planning staff events, including birthdays, service anniversary recognition parties, lunch-and-learns, team-building activities, etc.
• Report facility issues as needed to Corporate Real Estate
• Code and process invoices, enter data into the accounting system, produce purchase orders for contract materials and services, and request W-9 forms from new vendors to set them up in the system
• Assist with the on-boarding of new employees; this position is critical in welcoming new employees, answering their questions, and ensuring that all office and technical components are configured properly
• Demonstrate exceptional communication, collaboration and interpersonal skills, with a focus on upholding the values of The Walt Disney Company
• Provide input for the implementation of upgrades and projects furthering the vision of the Facility

Basic Qualifications:
• At least 5 years as an Executive Assistant or Office Manager;
• Strong organizational skills with focus on attention to detail with the ability to multi-task;
• Team player with exceptional communication, collaboration and interpersonal skills, with a focus on delivering exceptional customer service
• Self-motivation, organization and the ability to communicate clearly and concisely both verbally and in writing
• Proficiency in all Microsoft Office products and related technology
• Ability to be proactive, work well with little or no supervision and a strong attention to detail
• Ability to quickly learn internal business systems (purchasing, A/P, etc.), including meeting systems (i.e. video conference, bluejeans, webex, etc.)
• Complete reliability handling confidential information;
• Desire to truly be helpful to your leaders and co-workers, to go the extra mile without being asked, to build solid inter and intra-team relationships;
• Some flexibility in your schedule – we value work/life balance, but in a pinch, a bit more time is needed;
• A professional demeanor, positive outlook and a can-do attitude.

Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience in SAP and work order management systems

• High school degree
