Job Description

Job Duties
• Work with a team whose goal is to coordinate all diversity initiatives across the News Division
• Research, analyze and compile data in presentations for internal and external requests
• Provide coordination and support for internal and external events, meetings, conferences and conventions
• Conceptualize presentations with senior leaders and work with teams across the company to gather data and create a visually appealing deck for internal and external meetings
• Liaise between the News Diversity Team and Comcast Diversity Team for initiative support. This includes communicating News events to corporate team
• Coordinate travel and manage calendars for senior team leaders when they travel
• Research the efforts of NBC news & MSNBC shows, which represent their on-air commitment to Diversity
• Track and compile successful posts and videos from NBCBLK, NBC Latino and NBC Asia American

Basic Qualifications
• Strong knowledge of Excel including working with large data sets, using pivot tables, formulas, and creating graphics and charts to show trends
• Strong knowledge of PowerPoint and presentation composition
• Basic video editing skills
• Knowledge of NBC News and MSNBC shows, Talent, and Contributors.
• Familiarity with iNews rundowns and transcripts and Guesttracker
• Exceptional writing and editing skills
• Understanding statistical data and trends
• Bachelor's Degree preferred
• Minimum one (1) year experience in Diversity and News field
• Proficient in Microsoft business communication tools
• Some ability to travel
