What a Senior Motion Designer does at EA:

As a Senior Motion Designer, you will work alongside a creative team of artists to ensure our marketing content is delivered at the highest quality and competed on a world class level. You will be responsible creating content for a diverse array of media platforms to achieve the final creative vision set forward by your Creative Director.

Key Criteria:
• A Motion Designer with a proven track-record of delivering multiple successful projects.
• A minimum of 7 years' experience, ideally in a senior role.
• Experience producing world class assets, on time and on brief.
• Deep passion and insight into the latest trends, techniques, and social networks.
• Solution focused with the ability to dive technically deep while still maintaining focus on deadlines.

The next great EA Senior Motion Designer also needs:
• Extensive experience of a similar role within a dynamic commercial environment.
o Strong understanding and implementation of animation principles.
o Experience with multiple formats and can identify motion design trends.
o A firm understanding of post-production pipelines.
• Strong written & verbal Communication Skills
o Great attention to detail.
o Excellent interpersonal skills.
o An open & honest proactive approach to communication
o Ability to communicate to people at all levels, both internally & externally
o Strong Listening Skills
• Extensive Problem Solving Skills
o Sets clear priorities to optimally complete work tasks, allocating resources efficiently
o Able to work to designated deadlines & communicates progress with clarity
o Excited about learning new workflows and adding insight into the production processes.
• Collaborative Outlook
o Takes a team rather than an individual approach to their work
o Self-starting individual with proven ability to take ownership for results and driving change.
o Leads collaborative efforts both inside and outside of their team; working with key influencers to effect change.
o Stays committed to the team & business ethic; maintains a positive outlook in everything they do.
• Strong Technical skills
o Excellent proficiency in After Effects, Cinema 4D, and the Adobe Creative Suite.
o Solid knowledge of computers and video post technology, pipelines, and workflows.
o Knowledge of real time engine technology is considered a major plus.
