Role Overview

Corporate Functions Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) helps provide budgeting, forecasting and analytic support for EA's corporate cost centers. The Finance Manager will provide direct business partnership to and influence the Chief People Officer (Human Resources), Global Workplace Services (Facilities), General Counsel (Legal) and Mgmt. You will manage a finance team that provides accurate and reporting and analysis and will be someone to guide efficient processes for budgeting and forecasting of expenses, headcount and capital.

What You'll Do:
• Business Partnering
• Develop relationships with essential leadership to help provide the long-term strategy
• Influence important decisions by understanding the big picture combined with providing underlying deep financial analysis
• Lead a finance team to partner with corporate functions, understanding specific goals for each and actively working as their finance liaison to promote their success
• Prepare and hold business reviews for EA's leadership team with clear presentation materials
• Financial Forecasting and Reporting
• Manage all forecasting and reporting activities related to Opex, Capex, and Headcount according to the Corporate calendar
• Lead financial reviews with budget owners to develop annual plans and subsequent forecast updates.
• Guide analysis to highlight variance drivers and identify opportunities to mitigate risk and improve performance
• Monthly and Quarterly Close
• Manage all close activities for assigned departments including identifying and preparing accrual and reclass entries to ensure precise accounting of known activities
• Drive FP&A Excellence
• Play a crucial role in building and retaining our world-class FP&A team
• Identify and lead initiatives to continuously improve, standardize and automate forecasting and reporting tools and processes

Who You Are:
• Ability to work with ambiguity and independence
• Able to work collaboratively, within the group across teams/functions as a specialist and partner

Preferred Experience and Technical Skills
• Bachelor's degree required. MBA or CPA preferred
• Minimum 7 years of related financial experience
• passionate, comfortable working with and presenting to senior management
• Experienced people manager to lead finance team and provide executive management support
• Increasing levels of responsibility and independence
• Recommend, manage and drive projects to completion
• Proficiency in Accounting and general GAAP knowledge
• Understanding of functional linkages and ability to build strong professional relationships with business partners in both operational and financial roles
• Excellent MS Excel and PowerPoint expertise required, knowledge in Hyperion Essbase and Oracle preferred
