News Production Assistant (PT)

We are looking for a Part Time News Production Assistant who will be part of a team responsible for preparing for newscasts at 6, 10 and 11 on North Coast News, KAEF ABC 23 and KBVU FOX 28.

Responsibilities include:
• Prep for newscasts including but not limited to:
• Build graphics
• Studio/set preparation
• Write articles
• Lighting
• Edit video
• Post video
• Shoot video
• Other duties as assigned

Experience:
• Experience is not necessary, but education and/or internship in television or related field preferred (journalism not theatre please)
• Training will be provided

General Hours: [3 p.m. to 12 a.m. M-F]
• Must be able and willing to work on weekends for events/breaking news
• Other hours as needed on occasion for breaking news
