DESCRIPTION:

The Art Coordinator is responsible for a variety of departmental support duties including: support to VP, Creative Director for calendar, phones, meeting scheduling, expense reporting, departmental communications. Departmental duties include tracking missing cover and interior assets via weekly exception reports, helping to ensure assets are feeding to retailers, managing the processing of departmental invoices into the invoicing system, managing weekly Cover Meeting Agenda and file distribution, ordering supplies for dept, managing weekly book distribution, purchasing fonts, coordinating submission process and file preparation for various national and international book shows, fairs and competitions, working with Xerox facility in-house to produce mockups for sales calls, promotions, and industry conventions.

QUALIFICATIONS:

1-2 years experience in publishing. Must be extremely well organized, able to multi-task, able to think on feet, strong problem solving, communication and writing skills, and proffiency in Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Word, InDesign and Photoshop.
