Using your relationship-building skills, you provide Google-caliber client service, research and market analysis. You anticipate how decisions are made, persistently explore and uncover the business needs of Google's key clients and understand how our range of product offerings can grow their business. Working with them, you set the vision and the strategy for how their advertising can reach thousands of users.
As a Video Strategy Lead, you will be part of a team of specialists working cross-functionally across account and agency teams to strategize, create, and facilitate large and complex agreements that contribute to Google's annual brand ambition goals and build annual strategies with holding companies.
You will connect various data points to build strategic partnership plans rooted in data, innovation, and creativity. You'll help clients achieve their marketing and communication goals, and work cross-functionally to build compelling and differentiated plans. You will create the strategic vision and architecture behind annual, large, multi-platform partnerships with key Google clients, and build strategies that help holding companies navigate and succeed in the evolving media landscape.
Our Large Customer Sales teams partner closely with many of the world's biggest advertisers and agencies to develop digital solutions that build businesses and brands. We enjoy a bird's eye view on the massive transformation occurring as advertising shifts to mobile and online platforms. We're uniquely situated to help shape how companies grow their businesses in the digital age. We advise clients on Google's broad range of products across search, video and mobile to help them connect instantly and seamlessly with their audiences.
The US base salary range for this full-time position is $114,000-$169,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Resonsibilities:
• Collaborate with sales and specialist teams to build strategic media direction that drives a large, annual, multi-product Google partnership.
• Analyze various sources of internal and external data to develop unique insights and observations that help support the recommendations.
• Provide knowledge of Google/YouTube brand products that will be recommended as part of the partnership plan.
• Partner with holding companies to develop compelling annual strategy and plans.
Qualifications:
Minimum qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 5 years of experience in digital advertising sales, marketing, consulting, or media (e.g. search, social, mobile, display, and video media).
• 5 years of experience in consumer and market insights, media measurement, and privacy landscape.
Preferred qualifications:
• Experience designing plans and programs to meet many different client marketing and media goals.
• Experience managing large multi-platform media partnerships
• Ability to dissect data and analysis to uncover insights, opportunities, and white-space.
• Experience leading strategy development across complex, multi-disciplinary, cross-functional teams.
