Job Description
YouTube Marketing's mission is to know our users, and to connect them to the magic of our products and creators. We make YouTube successful by shaping people's perceptions of YouTube and inspiring them to engage with us. We're also responsible for all of YouTube's marketing activities to consumers, creators, and key opinion influencers.
On this team, your role is to shape the strategic and operational direction of Marketing based on user insights and impact measurement. You will work with teams and collaborate cross-functionally with leaders to solve challenges, lead high priority projects, and drive greater operational rigor.

In this role, you work with a cross-functional team across product development, partnership, strategy, finance, and more.

Resonsibilities:
• Lead, manage, and represent YouTube APAC Marketing through annual and quarterly planning, strategy, and execution. Identify and take on ad hoc strategic projects, everything from defining product strategies for the region to implementing scalable marketing infrastructures.
• Work with global, regional, and local YouTube Marketing's leadership team to coordinate C-level deliverables while influencing global product development based on local user and creator insights.
• Lead marketing insights and analytics team and conduct data-driven business analytics to support and make recommendations on strategy and investment.
• Evaluate and pressure test organization performance. Identify opportunities to drive product growth and user engagement and develop data-driven recommendations for leadership.
• Improve overall operating efficiency and effectiveness by applying a structured approach to operational processes and directly manage the regional team while influencing country marketing teams.

Qualifications:

Minimum qualifications:
• 15 years of experience in marketing leadership, developing strategic marketing plans, or executing campaigns that drive business goals.
• 8 years of experience in people management leading teams in markets.

Preferred qualifications:
• Ability to communicate with and influence executive cross-functional stakeholders in global, regional, and local teams.
• Excellent project and stakeholder management skills.
• Passion for YouTube brand, ecosystem, and initiatives.
