Job Description
YouTube's Global Product Partnerships team (YTPP) drives partner strategy and manages the key relationships that help to build, distribute, and grow YouTube's products globally. We own the business side of new features, products, and initiatives that are vital to the success of YouTube. We know how to assess partnerships opportunities in any situation, define a strategy, and work closely with YouTube's technical teams and other stakeholders to drive critical partnerships that help evolve our business.

As the Director Global Product Partnerships, Access, you will lead a team and global program that is responsible for YouTube's strategic relationships with telcos, forging alliances that help unlock growth around the world, and driving awareness and adoption of new products such as Shorts, and innovating in new technologies such as 5G. You will also be the YouTube representative in the telecom space across all YouTube products and will be critical in ensuring success in a One Google approach to this complex and ever-evolving landscape.

Resonsibilities:
• Own the performance of the global program driving DAU growth through telecommunications partnerships, including strategic thought leadership for the area globally, with direct oversight of agreement execution and partner management for Global partners.
• Build, manage, and develop a high performing, diverse team that drives the success of YouTube's Access products while fostering a culture that encourages creative thinking and thoughtful risk taking.
• Communicate and collaborate effectively with a broad range of constituents, particularly in product, engineering, marketing, sales, and legal, as well as cross-Google leadership and with top external partner executives.
• Understand industry trends and market insights to adjust to changing circumstances.

Qualifications:

Minimum qualifications:
• 15 years of experience in Business Development, including identifying partners, structuring and creating agreements, and partner management
• 10 years of experience with strategy and operations
• Experience leading teams and being a manager of managers

Preferred qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree, MBA degree, or consulting experience
• Experience working in the telecom space
• Experience establishing and managing cross-functional stakeholders and leadership through influence with an ability to quickly master organizational dynamics
• Ability to thrive in an ambiguous, fast-paced, and changing environment. Ability to drive transformation initiatives that require excellent collaboration across the organization
• Ability to structure, analyze, and solve complex business problems, as well as deliver impact against concrete business goals.
• Ability to effectively balance short-term tactical and long-term strategic goals and think like a general manager
