Job Summary/Description:
WWSB ABC 7, the Gray Local Media, Inc. owned ABC affiliate in beautiful Sarasota, Florida, seeks a dynamic Director of Sales to lead our team. This is a highly coveted position and has only been open twice in the last 30 years.
This individual must be an expert in coaching, training, cold calling, role playing, prospecting, closing business, and leading team members to consistently grow market share and revenue. The candidate must be an innovative leader who knows how to maximize revenue on all platforms, including: Digital, OTT, Mobile, Social Media, and any new platform opportunities that may arise. A successful track record driving local, digital, & national revenue, selling creative solutions, and creating revenue projects is required. We need an expert in pricing/inventory control, strategic planning, managing multiple sales projects, motivating and leading local Media Executives, and developing new business.

Qualifications/Requirements:
- The next Director of Sales will need to be skilled with Wide Orbit, Wide Orbit Media Sales, and Matrix.
- Five years of being a local media seller with a successful track record of closing business is a must.
- Five years of television management and a college degree preferred.
