Job Summary/Description:

7 News Watertown seeks an executive producer for our top rated morning news shows. This management role requires effective communication, the ability to organize and lead a small team, and a strong vision for informative and fun morning programming.

Essential responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Review rundowns and scripts
- Develop new content for morning shows
- Assist news leadership team in executing content initiatives across all platforms
- Help develop content via the 7 News Digital desk (over the top programming)
- Lead the morning team in editorial meetings

Qualifications/Requirements:
- Journalism degree with more than two years experience in the industry preferred
- Excellent writer/storyteller
- Excellent newscast producer
- Excellent news judgement
- Strong organizational skills
- Capable of quickly altering plans for breaking news/weather
- Editing skills preferred/ Web publishing skills preferred
- On-the-job training available
