Job Summary/Description:

WWBT, Richmond's number one news organization, is looking for a seasoned reporter/anchor to join our news team. Team player and ability to work in an intense breaking news environment. Must be a strong writer for television and our station website. Successful candidate must have solid news judgement, possess strong leadership skills and be able to perform well under pressure. We are not looking for a show stacker. Instead, the ideal candidate must be able to create compelling, research driven content that is clear, concise and relatable to our audience on all platforms. Candidate must be a team player with the ability to work in an intense breaking news environment and willing to blow a show up minutes before air. On the spot problem solving is a must for this job. Candidate must be a strong writer for television and our station website.

Qualifications/Requirements:
• The successful candidate must have a dynamic personality and strong presence on air and on all of our social platforms. Must be a great communicator and work well with others and under pressure. The leading candidate must excel at breaking news and live interviews and have the ability to provide critical context when relevant. Strong reporting, good writing and great storytelling are also requirements for this job. Drug Screen required.
