Job Summary/Description:
The Digital Sales Specialist is a dynamic marketing expert, who is committed to making data-driven decisions. This role requires a skilled communicator who is willing, and able to act as a secondary client contact while understanding client goals and optimizing success through research and analysis. The Digital Sales Assistant must be detail-oriented, technology savvy, and capable of producing creative and high-impact sales presentations while managing multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment. This position works directly with the Digital Sales Manager, sales team, advertisers, and corporate design team to ensure that campaigns run as directed.
Duties/Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
- Suggest optimization strategies for digital campaigns
- Stay up to date with emerging trends and identify areas of development within emerging markets
- Produce creative and high-impact sales presentations while managing multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
- Assist the sales team with developing concise reports highlighting the success of the campaign
- Promote positive working relationships within the department and the company
- Digital order entry with high level of accuracy
- Request, update and monitor digital creative scheduling on all campaigns
- Execute campaigns and creative development for all digital advertising
- Update and monitor digital creative
- Organize and deliver monthly reports
- Work with corporate design team on digital ad creative, scheduling and revising campaigns
- Produce digital analytic performance reports
- Work with other departments on station projects
- Must be able to work under daily deadlines with attention to detail
- Ability to be self-motivated and work as part of a team
- Must have strong organizational skills
- Essential to be able to an effective communicator
- Produce Nielsen and Comscore weeklies and research pieces for sales team
- Assist sales assistants when needed
Qualifications/Requirements:
- 2+ years in digital media
- BA/BS degree preferred
- Possess demonstrable experience working in both B2B and B2C environments
- Possess outstanding written and verbal communication skills
- Have passion for managing, testing, and optimizing all things digital media
- Be detail-oriented, very organized, able to multi-task, and able to work well under deadlines
