Job Summary/Description:

WTVY is looking for a General Sales Manager to lead our team of highly experienced multimedia marketing consultants. The successful candidate will guide our team in creating solution-oriented campaigns that deliver results. This key department head must be engaged and strategic, with an ability to collaborate and effectively communicate with the entire station team. Provide dynamic leadership and foster a winning culture to achieve budgets and grow revenue for local, regional, national and digital sales. Maximize and manage inventory, rate cards, special opportunities and forecast revenue. Candidate must have a strong understanding of digital solutions, and a successful track record of growing new and existing local direct business.

Duties/Responsibilities will include (but not be limited to):
- Assist the Account executives and Digital Sales Manager with creative solutions in building presentations
- Provide or assist in strategy when deciding what to pitch to a client and prepare the recommendation page along with supporting slides
- Responsible for providing optimization suggestions to increase effectiveness for campaign
- Accurate budgeting, forecasting and reporting
- Employee relations & development, ensuring the sales staff has the needed training, qualifications and work environment to allow it to succeed
- Client relations, with an emphasis on New Business development & customer service
- Innovate and execute evolving sales programs
- Administrative duties related to sales, including interviewing
- Comscore and Nielsen knowledge

Qualifications/Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experienced preferred
- Minimum of five years in sales (sales management preferred)
- Strong leadership skills with ability to initiate creative sales efforts
- Ability to foster a collaborative, supportive team environment
- Excellent communication skills
- Experience in guiding, motivating and leading a successful sales team
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Wide Orbit and Matrix
