Job Summary/Description:

WTVY News4 is looking for an Executive Producer who is ready to lead, innovate, and make a positive impact on the Wiregrass. Working with other newsroom leaders, you will play a vital role in shaping content each day, coaching young journalists, and delivering quality local journalism. The position is ideal for an experienced producer aiming to take on their first leadership role.

Duties/Responsibilities will include (but not be limited to):
- Coordinate special projects across departments, including field producing and line producing, as needed
- Oversee a variety of dayparts, breaking news, and severe weather coverage
- Effectively coach a team of line producers on best practices and process improvement
- Maintain journalistic integrity across all platforms while innovating
- Assist with daily and long-form story development, maximizing the best use of resources
- Contribute to and lead daily editorial meetings

Qualifications/Requirements:
- 2+ years of newsroom experience are required
- 2+ years producing television news or the equivalent is required
- Bachelor's degree in journalism, Communications, or a related field is preferred
- Proven successful track record of working well with others
