Lifestyle Videographer Editor

WTVR, The E.W. Scripps Company CBS affiliate in Richmond, VA, is looking for a Lifestyle Videographer/Editor to join our team. The Videographer/Editor will capture and edit visual content for our morning lifestyle program, Virginia This Morning. They will also be responsible for operating various content gathering equipment, including but not limited to various video cameras, audio equipment, live transmissions via TVU, and video editing software (Adobe Premiere Pro). They will also be asked to generate unique content for the show.
WHAT YOU'LL DO:
• Capture and edit visual content for lifestyle program, Virginia This Morning.
• Operate and maintain video equipment including cameras, audio recording and video editing.
• Work in tandem with lifestyle show personnel to create and develop feature stories and content.
• Think about our clients, our Sales team and our viewers in everything you do.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
WHAT YOU'LL NEED:
• Associates degree in related discipline preferred
• Generally 2+ years of experience in related field preferred
WHAT YOU'LL BRING:
• Proficiency with video cameras, lighting and computer based editing (Adobe Premiere)
• Knowledge and demonstration of creativity
• Detail oriented
• Ability to transition from one project to another over the course of a shift
• Knowledge of and proficiency in posting content
• Able to work efficiently under multiple deadlines on a daily basis
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
• Valid driver's license, good driving record, and ability to provide proof of insurance with the company required insurance limits
