WTOV in Steubenville, OH is looking for a News Topical Promotion Producer.

The primary function of a News Topical Promotion Producer is to write and produce compelling and creative teases and promotional messages to showcase the great work of the WTOV News 9 team on television, radio, and digital platforms. You'll work closely with a supportive team in Marketing and News that encourages your ideas and contributions to make our product better.

You'll be joining the most watched local news team in the Ohio Valley, dedicated to making a difference and helping you succeed in your broadcasting career with Sinclair Broadcast Group.

What your day will look like: Write and produce evening and late news topicals for WTOV News 9 for television. Work closely with the News 9 team and reporters to develop promo scripts that are memorable and impactful, while supporting the News 9 Everywhere brand.

Experience Requested: Previous broadcast television experience, either professional or education based. A passion for writing, marketing and journalism and preferably experience in the world of broadcast television. Experience using Avid Media Composer, Adobe Creative Suite, along with the working knowledge of shooting video and graphics is a plus but not necessary to start.
