Job Summary/Description:
WRDW-TV/WAGT-TV has an immediate opening for a Digital Reporter/Anchor. Journalism degree or experience required. Position involves writing, reporting, and anchoring news and breaking news online, on-air, and through live and on-demand streaming platforms.
WRDW-TV/WAGT-TV has an immediate opening for a full-time Digital Reporter/Anchor. Position involves locating, writing, editing scripts and video, and reporting/anchoring news and breaking news content on our digital platforms, including website, social media accounts, and live digital streaming platforms.
Gather and verify factual information through emails, phone calls, and other forms of communication from organizations, the public, news photographers, reporters, producers, and in-house co-workers. Actively assist to drive our digital effort to create and showcase content utilizing strong editorial, journalistic, organization and communication skills.
Work closely with news managers, producers, assignment editors, reporters, photographers. Live reporting and anchoring to relay accurate, clear, conversational, information from newsroom and field. Operate video editing, streaming, camera, equipment, content management systems.

Qualifications/Requirements:
- Successful applicants will have a degree in journalism, mass communications, or related field or equivalent experience as well as solid news writing for on-air and online formats
- Must be able to shoot and edit video
- Strong camera presence and proven track record of reporting live and unscripted is a must
- Desire and skill to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to accuracy and detail under multiple deadlines required
- Fluent in Spanish is a plus
