Job Summary/Description:

This is a remote position that can be based in Atlanta, Charlotte or any of the three markets. WRDW, WJHG & WTVY seek a National Sales Manager responsible for maximizing national revenue for their multiplatform media brands in the markets they serve. The NSM is responsible for overseeing all national revenue, driving share and creating demand with media planners and buyers throughout the country, working closely with each station's General Manager and General Sales Manager. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of building creative solutions to meet clients' marketing needs. Strong relationships in national advertising agencies, plus extensive knowledge of the television industry are necessary.

The successful candidate will be responsible for (but not limited to) the following:
-Develop and implement National sales plans to meet assigned budget goals
-Drive share growth by developing strategic solutions that go beyond traditional spot dollars
-Maximize performance via inventory control, rate strategies and traffic management
-Manage, track and optimize account performance to achieve client satisfaction and renewal business
-This position requires light travel (less than 20% of the time) to station markets and agency clients.

Qualifications/Requirements:
- Bachelors' degree, preferably in business or marketing
- Multiplatform sales background
- 3+ years' experience as a sales/marketing representative for a media company
- Strong knowledge of national media industry
- Excellent negotiating and closing skills
- Proven track record in achieving/exceeding sales goals
- Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact successfully with clients and advertising agencies at all levels
- Embraces technology, with knowledge of Wide Orbit a plus
